Kamenya held an opening ceremony for its new teacher house, attended by community members (including students) and education officials. The village chief thanked Village X donors and asked them to continue supporting his community. The Primary Education Advisor expressed her thanks for helping to address the ministry's teacher house shortage.

The teacher house should be done by this weekend, despite the local contractor getting COVID-19 in the middle of construction (Field Officer Wedson reports that the contractor is recovering). It is amazing to see what hardworking Malawians can do with a little local investment.

Kamenya is making great progress on its teacher house. Roofing is underway. Next task: installing the doors.
