Chamtunga's solar charger has helped its first entrepreneur. When Mr. Banda returned to the village two years ago after working in South Africa, he was frustrated by the lack of electricity to power his television. His television now sits in the community cinema he just opened next to the solar charger.

The solar company arrived at Chamtunga after dark and immediately met with the community about installation of the solar charger. The company got to work the next day and now the charger is up and running! The community is very appreciative of this new resource.
