Totally unprompted, the village started growing tomatoes around the borehole to raise money for borehole maintenance.

"Hello everyone, drilling at Mbanga village has started today with agood noted , we found water at 18meters and we have stopped at 33m and will be proceeding tomorrow morning hours in order to reach the borehole standards of Malawi as the range of 45-60m deep. The communities of Mbanga were happy enough and they have been with us all day helping us were a support be needed as a way of showing the commitment."
