Field Report from Myson Jambo: Today l joined Alfred for the Namowa borehole handover ... because of COVID-19, it was a very simple function with less than 5 people from the community, the chief himself and four Village X project committee members. This borehole project is complete! Namowa has clean water.

The borehole handover ceremony was delayed for a few days due to an unexpected funeral in the village.

Water was found at 50 meters! After testing the well, drillers turned to installing a brick and cement structure to protect the well.

The project is underway! Drillers reached 23 meters and the first level of water 💦 on the first day. They will continue drilling up to 55 meters.

Not the kind of water that people should drink. That will change soon thanks to Namowa Village and generous donors.
