Goats delivered! This week the community welcomed a herd 38 female goats. Female goats are distributed because of their ability to quickly grow the herd (it's easy to find male goats for breeding). Recipients will care for these goats and share offspring throughout the community. Goats are valuable assets that create financial security and send kids (especially girls) to school. Kamenya is very appreciative and noted that Village X is the only nonprofit providing assistance in the area. Residents remarked that they look forward to a future when they return the favor and supply goats to Village X.
