In April 2016, Maluwa Village completed its nursery school and held a ceremony to mark the occasion. Festivities included singing, dancing, and speeches. Field officer Myson Jambo was in attendance. The school will open immediately, staffed by a local woman with good English skills and teaching experience. Many children will receive early childhood education in preparation for primary school.
