Namphungo constructed a new teacher house for its primary school during September and October 2015. The house was completed in October 2015, welcoming a teacher and his family. Member of Parliament Patricia Kaliati attended the handing over ceremony and celebration, which included a soccer match. Field officers Myson Jambo, Gift Chimimba, and Alfred Piyo were in attendance.
