Saiti received 70 bags of urea fertilizer to be shared among 140 of the least affluent families in the village. The families will use the fertilizer in combination with goat manure to help grow a bountiful maize crop. Although Malawi has suffered two years of bad maize harvests (due to floods and droughts), we are hopeful that, this year, good rains and fertilizer will yield a bumper crop.
