Residents express their appreciation for the under-five clinic. It's a dedicated place where young children receive medical checkups and mothers learn best practices raising healthy kids.

The clinic is in use! Mothers get their babies weighed and receive nutritional advice from medical personnel.

Chipwanya's clinic is done! It was built for children under the age of 5 and is managed by Health Surveillance Assistants who visit from local health centers. Activities taking place at the clinic include immunizations, weighing children to spot nutritional problems, and delivering lessons to mothers on proper care of their children (e.g., breast feeding). When not in use as a clinic, the building will be used as a nursery school because the community currently doesn't offer nursery education.
