Community Problem: Namowa is a rural village, located far from Malawi

Community Solution: Build a first-of-its-kind community solar charging station in Namowa. The charging station will have six 340-watt panels and 100 USB ports, allowing it to charge 100 phones at a time. The station was designed, and will be installed, by our partner Power-Aid, a renewable power company with offices in the UK and Malawi, using high-quality components build to UK-specs. Power-Aid has completed numerous solar projects in Malawi, including working with Madonna
