Namowa wants agricultural fertilizer to solve a persistent problem caused by poverty -- food insecurity. For most farmers, applying high quality fertilizer to hybrid seeds, will significantly increase yields.

Community Problem: Lack of access to fertilizer, particularly for low-income families.

Community Solution: Purchase and distribute bags of fertilizer to low-income households. Each household will receive one bag of fertilizer. All told, the project will help about 100 families increase their yields and have more food next year.

Partners: generous donors and Namowa Village

Outcome: fertilizer for the growing season
