Nguo wants to build a teacher's house at the community's primary school to solve a persistent problem.

Community Problem: Nguo Village has 3000 students and 30 teachers in its primary school. Teachers commute to school from many kilometers away because the school has only two teacher's houses. This increases teacher absenteeism and limits the availability of teachers for early morning and late afternoon classes. Nguo burned bricks 8 years ago for a third teacher house but struggled to find financing to complete the job.

Community Solution: Build more teacher houses. This project will assist a teacher and his/her family. It will also build capacity in a community that has organized this project and invested its resources to provide labor, materials, and 10% in cash (about $250).
